We loved this place. Very much a charming old inn, but everything is clean and comfortable. Great location on the main street. The restaurant in the hotel is fabulous as well. Our dinner there was the most memorable of our trip. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is such a wonderful small boutique hotel with a great location! Unfortunately we only did spend 1 night here end of July 2023...large rooms, modern and stylish, great breakfast and top notch service! We will surely be back soon!

For visitors, travellers and locals this hotel offers a unique atmosphere in the historic centre of the ancient fortress city Naarden Vesting opposite the majestic church. The ambiance is warm and cosy and the service 'hip' and friendly. A perfect spot for just coffee or more. In spring and summer there is a large outside terras. Naarden Vesting= fortress is part of the city of Naarden which belongs to the community of Gooise Meren.

The room was very clean. The breakfast did not lack anything. Very nicely located hotel. Will be happy to come back. For us as cyclists, the hotel always had a way to park and load the bikes.

We did not have a good experience at the hotel. The building on the outside is under renovation on the walls and ceiling, we arrived without knowing it, on no website did it say about the renovation of the building. We woke up at 8:30 am to a person working on our window and making unbearable noise. We went down to the reception at 9:00 am to complain, they apologized, but they did nothing, we had to leave. Very politely I asked if we could have a discount on the daily rate, they told us that they would talk to the manager and the answer came by email, simply that they would not give any discount. (May 2023).

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful hotel in this beautiful historic town. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet, equipped with high quality components that gives you a feeling of your presence being honored. There was a warm and personal welcome by the owners couple. The breakfast is huge and excellent, the young staff always at your call if you should need some extra. Parking is convienient, to load und unload directly in front of the entrance, during the night you take the car to the free public parking just 100 m away. Absolutely recommendable.

What a little gem this is and I'm not only talking about the hotel but also the restaurant. This is probably the first boutique hotel I've been to that's complimented by such a top notch little restaurant. Quite a holistic approach if you ask me. Very welcoming staff that helped me to check into my room, beautiful interior design and a straight forward "spot on" menu (had the steak for dinner) that fits perfectly to the hotel amenities. It seems that someone came up with a great concept which gets executed perfectly. Highly recommend.

Breakfast and brunch were both fantastic and their coffee was absolutely delicious. But most importantly their service was excellent with a smile and made us feel very welcomed! We look forward to returning at our next visit.
